Spying in DC Goes High Tech

A friend of mine was fishing off Hilton Head once and somehow got barbed by a stingray. It wasn’t a pleasant experience but he … uh … learned from it. Now, learn about this: there’s a device called a Stingray. It traps cellular communications and allows spying, tracking, even malevolent attacks. The police, the government in America are rather fond of them. They use them to spy on us.

Now the state enforcers of power are upset to learn someone is using the same techniques to spy on them. Recent revelations suggest foreign spies, hackers, and various criminals are making use of the new technology to surveille military and other government employees around the nation’s capital. None of this is good for the goose nor the gander.
