Pain at the Pump May be On the Way
CNBC reports on a pricey announcement by the AAA: gas prices to rise for Spring. Just in time from motoring with the top down, you know. This season AAA expects prices to average around $2.70 for a gallon of regular unleaded nationwide. That means that in many places, with higher taxes, folks will be paying north of $3. We haven’t seen that in a while
Demand and prices are usually lower in the winter. When it warms up people drive more. More driving means more gas used and higher prices. It’s a cycle. Right now we’re hovering around $2.50 a gallon. That will be going up soon. There are other factors in play and more things to consider. But, for now, adjust the budget accordingly.
